youtube.com, googlevideo.com, video.com.np लगायत अरु धेरै भिडियो sharing साईटहरुबाट जब हामी कुनै भिडियो हेर्छौ त्यो भिडियो हाम्रो कम्प्युटरको local disk मा cache को रुपमा स्टोर भईरहेको हुन्छ। यो कुरा धेरैजसोलाई थाहा छैन र हामीले हेरीसकेको भिडियो आफ्नो कम्प्युटरमा save गर्नको लागि फेरी कुनै downloading software को सहायता लिएर फेरी download गर्छौ । जबकि उक्त भिडियो पहिले नै browser cache मा save भई सकेको छ भने फेरी किन त्यही भिडियोलाई download गरेर टाईम loss गर्ने ???
त्यसैले आज यस्तो एउटा utility को बारेमा चर्चा गर्नेछु जसको मद्घतले हामीले watch गरेको भिडियोलाई browser cache बाट सजिलै तपाईंले desktop वा local disk मा कपि गर्न सक्नु हुनेछ । यो utility बाट तपाईंले कुनै पनि हेरिसकेको भिडियोलाई सिधै save गर्न सक्नुहुनेछ र यसको लागि अरु कुनैपनि downloading software को जरुरत पर्दैन ।
अब यो utility को बारेमा केही चर्चा गरौ ...
यो utility को नाम हो "Video cache viewer" र यसले माथि भनिए जस्तै तपाईंले watch गरीसकेको भिडियोलाई सिधै कपि गर्न मद्घत गर्छ । सामान्यतया हामीले watch गरिसकेको भिडियो अटोमेटिकल्ली Browser Cache मा store भईसकेको हुन्छ र त्यही store भएको भिडियोलाई यो utility को मद्घतले आफ्नो कम्प्युटरकोlocal disk मा कपि गर्ने हो जसलाई हामीले भबिस्यमा फेरी कुनै पनि बेला watch गर्न सक्छौ । यहाँनिर यो पनि याद राख्नु जरुरी छ कि हामीले हेरेकोसबै भिडियोहरु cache मा store हुँदैनन तर पनि धेरैजसो चाँही store नै हुने गर्छ ।
यो "video cache viewer" ले automatically Internet Explorer र Mozilla firefox वेब ब्राउजरको सबै cache हरु स्क्यान गर्छ र त्यहा store भएका video cache (Video file)लाई देखाउछ । यदि cache present छ भने यसले cache application window मा video display गर्छ र त्यो display भएको video लाई नै हामीले आफुले चाहेको ठाउमा save गर्ने हो । त्यसैले अब चिन्ता नगर्नुहोस् , तपाईंले एक चोटि watchगरिसकेको video लाई save गर्न अरु software को प्रयोग गर्नु पर्नेछैन ।

utility डाउनलोड गरिसकेपछि install गरेर run गर्नुहोस् त्यहा तपाईंले केही option हरु देख्नुहुनेछ तर हामीलाई अरु option को त्यती जरुरी छैन , हामीलाई मात्र “Play selected File” र “Copy selected Files To…” option को जरुरी छ ।

अरु option हरु पनि usefull नै छन use गरेर हेर्न......!!

Add a Recycle Bin to your Flash Drive

While working on another computer and using your own Flash Drive as a place to store and copy files, if a file is deleted it's sent to the Windows Recycle Bin. If you'd like the extra security and peace of mind, use the iBin utility to have all deleted files sent to a Recycle Bin folder on the Flash Drive.

To use this utility download the small iBin utility, run the ibin.exe file from the flash drive, and then delete files by pressing the Windows Key + Delete. When this shortcut key is pressed, any deleted file will be sent to the Flash Drive Recycle Bin instead of the Windows Recycle Bin. Once running the utility can have its settings adjusted by opening the Custom Options through the iBin Notification area icon. All deleted files can be found through the iBin folder on the Flash Drive or by opening the iBin contain folder to display a window like the one shown Picture...


Tip: If you're installing this utility on a Flash Drive with several thousand files or a drive with several GB of data it may take a few minutes to index the drive and its contents the first time it is ran.

As the 5th generation of the iPhone is on the verge of being released, and with all the speculations spreading on the Internet about the iPhone 5, people are anticipating and desperately waiting for the launch of the smartphone. Many fans and current Apple iPhone consumers are wondering what groundbreaking features Apple will add to the new iPhone 5.

iPhone 5 Features

Although Apple does not reveal the exact specifications and features until the device is officially unveiled, we could dictate some of the main features that are expected. However, rumor of the new iPhone 5 features, in terms of both hardware and software upgrades, will definitely entice any smartphone buyer.

The upcoming phone is expected to sport the Apple’s latest and greatest A5 processor chip, iCloud service, higher-resolution camera, and a 4-inch screen size. Here are some of the most anticipated iPhone 5 features:

iOS 5

Apple announced iOS 5.0 and its features during the WWDC 2011 keynote address on June 6, 2011. The user interface is based on the concept of direct manipulation, using multi-touch gestures. It is expected to come with more than 200 new features that will include improved Notification System, News Stand and iMessage.

iMessage is an application that is developed to compete with Blackberry Messenger. The app will allow iPod Touch, iPhone, and iPad users to communicate (much like a chat service) with each other. The iMessage feature has been integrated into the SMS/MMS application used originally on the iPhone models.

iCloud

The iPhone5 is expected to have the iCloud service.

Apple’s iPhone 5 is expected to feature the new iCloud service for wireless remote access of music from all computers and mobile devices.

The iPhone5 will automatically sync with the iCloud which will allow users to store photos, apps, calendars and documents without having them to store in the phone’s memory. Apple is also looking to tie up with top music label companies to license songs for the iCloud service.

However, rumours state that Apple might release a low-cost “iCloud iPhone” alongside the iPhone 5. It could be named the “iPhone Mini”

“The iPhone Mini (or iPhone Nano, or whatever) could have significantly less storage than a typical iPhone. Most likely 8 gigabytes of storage – the same as the lowest end iPhones right now. Apple won’t prevent users from storing their own content, because that would be crazy. But since it has a small amount of memory, Apple will likely push the ability to stream media via MobileMe as well.”

A5 Processor to power the iPhone5

iPhone 5 will house the A5 as the main processor, which technically is the same chip that currently powers the iPad 2. The A5 contains a dual-core ARM Cortex-A9 CPU with NEON SIMD accelerator and a dual core PowerVR SGX543MP2 GPU, which means that the iPhone5 can do twice the work at once. The processor speed will be somewhere between 1.2 to 1.5 GHz, with probably a 1GB RAM.

The processor upgrade is done not just to increase the processing speed of the phone, but also to compete with the newly launched Samsung Galaxy S II.

The A5 chip might effectively increase the power use, however, it is said that the chip has “got a dynamic power management”, which can lower the [speed] depending on the workload, and thus efficiently make use of the power.

iPhone 5 to Sport a Better Camera

The iPhone 4 sports a 5 megapixel camera, so I’m expecting that the iPhone 5 will have a rear-facing 8MP dual-LED flash camera. However, this isn’t really “awesome”, since most of the high-end Android smartphones come with an 8MP camera. Along with that, the iPhone 5 is expected to have a front-facing camera for video chatting.
According to sources, Apple has filed several patent applications relating to 3D picture capturing to the US Patent and Trademark Office later in March. This indicates that the iPhone 5 might feature a 3D camera. The filing indicates that the device will be capable of capturing, processing and rendering 3D images with dual-camera hardware.

Another interesting feature is that the iPhone 5 will be capable of taking pictures in Panorama. It will work similarly to the ’360 Panorama’ application in the App Store. It will let you take pictures in a sequence as you move the camera from one side to another, which in the end will effortlessly stitch the images together to create a panorama.

Additionally, if Apple really wants to keep up with the competition to Android, then it might consider improving upon the video resolution to a full 1080p HD recording. Currently iPhone 4 has a 720p video capture at 30 frames per second.

Display and Resolution

There hasn’t been a better screen resolution since the release of the iPhone 4. Currently the iPhone 4 has a 3.5 inches screen size, and sources indicate that Apple might stay locked with the current size. But a few other sources say that Apple is planning to increase the screen size to 4-inch with higher screen resolution. I feel that Apple could compromise at 3.7-inch or 3.75-inch.

However, the iPhone 5 could be slightly wider and thinner. The dimensions are calculated to be: 4.33″ x 2.36″ and .27″ thickness at the top and .21″ at the bottom, whereas the dimensions of iPhone 4 are: 4.5″ x 2.31″ x .37″

Other iPhone5 Features

Here are some of the other features that we can expect from the iPhone 5:

(*) According the AT&T documents leaked by LulzSec, the Apple iPhone 5 will offer 4G and will be LTE (Long Term Evolution) network compatible. LTE is a project of the 3rd Generation Partnership Project (3GPP), and is the latest standard in the mobile network technology.

(**) According to International Business Times, it is rumoured that the iPhone 5 will feature a new SIM-less design with 2 to 3 internal antennas for CDMA and GSM compatibility, which will make it a “worldphone”.

The above mentioned features are some of the improvements that we can expect from Apple. However, we cannot assure you that they can be true, but most of the upgrades are more likely to be utilized.

Apple definitely wants to fight back against Android smartphone makers like HTC and Samsung, and perhaps it is why the new iPhone 5 will host some of the outstanding features.

iPhone 5 Launch Date

Apple follows a tradition to launch new devices in their summer Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC), but that didn’t happen this year.

However, BGR reported that an AT&T Vice President has confirmed to several employees that the iPhone 5 that boasts a stronger chip for processing data and a more advanced camera is scheduled to be launched in early October. Additionally, the VP communicated the following to a group of managers: “Expect things to get really, really busy in the next 35-50 days, so prepare your teams accordingly.”

We can expect the announcement of the iPhone 5 in a late September event along with a release date set for early October.

The iPhone 4 has proven to be one of the most successful smartphones of all time with selling over 1.7 million devices in just three days of availability, and we are expecting that the iPhone 5 will certainly replicate this success, and one thing is for sure – the sales of iPhone 5 will definitely boom and we can expect a huge number of people lined up at Apple stores when the device is available for sale.

NASA confirms Earth-like planet, Kepler-22b could hold life

Washington: In another step toward finding Earth-like planets that may hold life, NASA has said the Kepler space telescope has confirmed its first-ever planet in a habitable zone outside our solar system.

French astronomers earlier this year confirmed the first rocky exoplanet to meet key requirements for sustaining life. But Kepler-22b, initially glimpsed in 2009, is the first the US space agency has been able to confirm.

Confirmation means that astronomers have seen it crossing in front of its star three times. But it doesn’t mean that astronomers know whether life actually exists there, simply that the conditions are right.

Such planets have the right distance from their star to support water, plus a suitable temperature and atmosphere to support life.

“We have now got good planet confirmation with Kepler-22b,” said Bill Borucki, Kepler principal investigator at NASA Ames Research Center.

“We are certain that it is in the habitable zone and if it has a surface, it ought to have a nice temperature,” he told reporters yesterday.

Spinning around its star some 600 light years away, Kepler-22b is 2.4 times the size of the Earth, putting it in class known as “super-Earths,” and orbits its Sun-like star every 290 days.

Its near-surface temperature is presumed to be about 72 degrees 22 Celsius. Scientists do not know, however, whether the planet is rocky, gaseous or liquid.

The planet’s first “transit,” or star crossover, was captured shortly after NASA launched its Kepler spacecraft in March 2009.

NASA also announced that Kepler has uncovered 1,094 more potential planets, twice the number it previously had been tracking, according to research being presented at a conference in California this week.

Kepler is NASA’s first mission in search of Earth-like planets orbiting suns similar to ours, and cost the US space agency about $ 600 million.

It is equipped with the largest camera ever sent into space — a 95-megapixel array of charge-coupled devices — and is expected to continue sending information back to Earth until at least November 2012.

Kepler is searching for planets as small as Earth, including those orbiting stars in a warm, habitable zone where liquid water could exist on the surface of the planet.

The latest confirmed exoplanet that could support life brings the total number confirmed by global
astronomers up to three.

R .I .P Narayan Gopal

Narayan Gopal Guruacharya: (October 4, 1939 - December 5, 1990) is the most prominent and popular singer and composer in the history of Nepali music. He is popularly referred to as "Swar Samrat" ( meaning: Emperor of Voice) in Nepali music. He is also known as "Tragedy King." He is well known as a singer as well as a composer. His voice range allowed him to sing songs of every genre of Nepali music. His songs are often richly orchestrated with the sitar, harmoniumand flute. He belongs to the first generation of Nepali singers who took singing as a profession. His songs have also been used in movies and dramas.

Narayan Gopal suffered from diabetes, yet had a propensity for sweetmeats. This habit led to his demise in December 5, 1990 (19 Mangsir, 2049 B.S.) in Bir Hospital, at 9 p.m. in Kathmandu, at an age of fifty-one. He died childless. Four of his brothers and three of his sisters still survive him.

भारतीय सिनेमाका सदाबहार अभिनेता देव आनन्दको निधन भएको छ । शनिबार बेलायतको लन्डनमा हृदयघातका कारण उहाँको निधन भएको भारतीय सञ्चारमाध्यमहरुले जनाएका छन् । शरीरमा रक्तसञ्चारमा समस्या देखिएपछि उहाँ केही हप्ता देखि उपचारका लागि लन्डनमा हुनुहुन्थ्यो ।

८८ वर्षिय देव आनन्दको निधन हुँदा उहाँका छोरा सुनील पनि सँगै भएको भारतीय समाचार संस्था प्रेस ट्रस्ट अफ इन्डियाले लेखेको छ । सन् १९४६ मा हिन्दी चलचित्र ‘हम एक हे’बाट भारतीय चलचित्र उद्योगमा पाइला राखेका देवानन्दले तीन दर्जन चलचित्रको निर्माण समेत गर्नुभएको छ ।

सन् १९४७ मा चलचित्र ‘जिद्धि’ मा गरेको उत्कृष्ट अभिनय पछि देव आनन्द भारतीय चलचित्र उद्योगका सदाबहार नायकका रुपमा स्थापित हुनुभयो । चलचित्र ‘जिद्धि’, ‘पेइङ गेस्ट’, ‘जेवल थिप’, ‘सिआइडि’, ‘जोनी मेरा नाम’, ‘अमिर गरिव’, ‘हरे राम हरे कृष्ण’, ‘देश परदेश’ लगायतका एक सय भन्दा धेरै चलचित्रमा उहाँको दमदार अभिनय छ । सन् १९७८ मा रिलिज भएको चलचित्र ‘देश परदेश’ उहाँ आफैले लेख्नुभएको थियो ।

सन् १९७० मा चलचित्र प्रेम पुजारीबाट निर्देशनमा हाम फालेका देव आनन्दले झण्डै दुई दर्जन चलचित्रको निर्देशन गर्नुभएको छ ।

उहाँको योगदानको कदर गर्दै भारत सरकारले उहाँलाई सन् २००१ मा पद्म भूषण र सन् २००२ मा दादा साहेब पाल्के अवार्ड प्रदान गरेको थियो । उहाँलाई यि बाहेका अन्य दर्जनौँ राष्ट्रिय तथा अन्र्राष्ट्रिय अवार्डले समेत सम्मानित गरिएको छ ।

नेपालसँग आनन्दको आत्मियता

आनन्दले अभिनय गरेका ‘हरे रामा हरे कृष्णा’, ‘जोनी मेरा नाम’ र ‘इश्क ईश्क’ चलचित्रको शुटिङ्ग नेपालमा गरिएको थियो । नेपालमा ७० को दशकमा चलेको हिप्पी संस्कृतिको सेरोफेरोमा रहेर निर्माण गरिएको चलचित्र ‘हरे रामा हरे कृष्णा’ले लागूऔषध प्रयोग दुरुत्साहन गर्ने दिशामा सन्देश दिने प्रयास गरेको थियो भने नेपाली संस्कृति र रहनसहनलाई बाहिरी विश्वमा चिनाउन मद्धत गरेको थियो ।

नेपालमा ६ वर्ष अघि आयोजना गरिएको चलचित्र महोत्सवका अवसर पारेर अभिनेता देब आनन्दलाई राष्ट्रिय पुरस्कार समेत प्रदान गरिएको थियो । नेपालसंग आत्मिय सम्बन्ध रहेको बताउने आनन्दले आफ्नो जीवनी पुस्तक ‘रोमान्सिङ्ग विथ लाईफ’को नेपालमै बिमोचन गर्नुभएको थियो !
